Hello Lyn,
Just to let you know that I have a copy of Gladys Seaton's 'Golf Reef and
Silver Tussock' (a history of the Shire of Leigh). There are lots of
references to Golf Hill but none of your folk mentioned as far as I can see.
I am also interested in that area as my 2 x Gt Grandfather Richard Jolly is
buried in Golf Hill Cemetery.
Other ancestors, Griffin and Millers also lived in the general area. Some
buried Teesdale.
I hadn't heard of Phillip Brown's book - wonder if they are still available?
Happy hunting - Betty of the Bay of Islands, NZ

Curtain Falls at Shelford. Written by Phillip L Brown, could they have a
look and see if there are any references to a James Hill, Jane McGregor or
James McGregor. According to James marriage certificate he was a grocer[As
far as I can make out the writing] He married Jane McGregor [who was a
domestic at Golfhill station]on 1/1/1856 , at the church at the
station.Their place of residence was given as Golfhill.James McGregor was
Jane 's father.
