I am researching my father's family. His name was Peter John Sherlock, son
of Joseph Sherlock and Maryanne (nee Hardiman of Geelong). Joseph was the
son of John and Margaret Sherlock (nee Wallace) who settled in Gnarwarre in
the 1850's. The Sherlock family left the Barrabool Hills district in 1875
and went to Mologa in Central Victoria. I am keen to extend my knowledge of
the time they spent in Gnarwarre and would very much like to hear from
anyone researching other families from Gnarwarre at that time.
