Hi Ainslee,

The Bellarine Historical Society is located at Drysdale and during winter
(May - Dec!) it's open on the FIRST Sunday of each month 1.30 - 4.30. Jan -
April it's every Sunday.

As for taking time off work to go to the GHRC - are you aware that it's open
on Tuesday EVENINGS? - 6-8 pm.

Your other question - Hooper Heritage Study - there's no such thing!
There's a BELLARINE Heritage Study which is available at the Bellarine
Historical Society, the City of Greater Geelong, and I think the GHRC. The
entry which mentions the HOOPER family is extremely brief - a D
classification for 495 Bellarine Hwy at Moolap (cnr Hwy and Whitehorse
Road) - "the property is a small dairy farm and has been owned by the HOOPER
and SCOTT families."

Regards ........... Susie Z

> Hi all,
> today i attended the GFHC open day, i was wondering about the centre
in Drysdale? When will this be open next? I was amazed at all the
information i saw but only came out with a bit because i didn't know where
to start, hopefully i will have a day off work at some point to be able to
go there again, it's ashame it's not open more hours. Also if i wanted to
find an entry in the consolidated book index would i need to go to drysdale
to do this? I'm interested in the Hooper Heritage Study, thanks, Ainslee
