Hi all
Could anyone tell me if death certificates were issued for soldiers killed
in the first world war. I have a relative who enlisted in NSW and according
to the Australian War Memorial website he was killed. The details are
Memorial Panel: 115
Cemetery or Memorial Details: WILTSHIRE 1812 Haverstock (St Edith)
Churchyard
Would this mean he was buried there? Where would his death be registered?
I have sent for his army records but would have liked a copy of his death
certifiucate if possible.
Lexie in sunny Colac (well today anyway)
