Hello everyone,
I'm new to the Geelong list and am looking for info on Christopher John and
William Horace (Horrie) Bant. They were born in 1881 and 1882 respectively in
Clunes. Chris was a publican in the 1920s and 1930s in Castlemaine, and later
was a shopkeeper or publican in Omeo where he died in 1949. Chris's wife
Elsie Clift died at Geelong in 1933 so I'm hoping that's where Chris is
buried. Horrie went off to the goldfields of WA where he died in 1957 in
Subiaco.
Looking for date of death for either Chris or Elsie so I can look for obits
to track down their movements.

Also researching in Geelong area: Catanach, Young (Jas Grant), Thompson,
Campbell (Robt Alex), Swanwick, Martin (Jno Hy), Newling, Lamb, Hayward,
Chapman, Aberline, Wilton, Bendle, Noske, Edebohls, Bain, Hillbrich.
