Hi Pat,
If they came out as assisted immigrants in that timeframe then you may
struggle to find them as the assisted indexes are limited.
Have you checked the film of the card index at the Geelong Historical
Records Centre and/or the one at the PRO?
Have you got a death certificate for either or both - if they died in Vic,
that should give you an indication of the number of years in the colony.
