I just visited the FreeBMD page and found that there is a record of a John
Parrott born March quarter 1849, Birmingham Volume 16 Page 293; if you want
to order a copy of the birth certificate from the GRO. (There were some
other John Parrotts, but not in Warwickshire and the year's difference isn't
unusual.)
