Is there anyone out there that is researching these names?
I am tracing James Slater who married Jane Deans in Colac, about 1864. James died 1891 and Jane died 1923.
James & Jane had 10 children that i know of, they were:
George Slater
Jane Slater, who married George Anderson. I think that they had 7 children, unsure.
John Slater
James Riddle Slater, who married Eliza Mills. I think they had 2 sons, James Walter Slater & George Henry Slater.
Andrew Slater, who married Lena? I think they had a son and he was killed in Bouginville 1945.
Margaret Slater who married Dennis Patrick Moloney. I think they had 5 children, James, John, Mary, Margaret & Thomas Moloney.
William Walter Slater who married Isabella Harriet Carter. I think they had 5 children John, William, George, Jessie & Jean.
Thomas Alexander Slater married Ethel ?
Alfred Slater married Susan Bridget Donohue.They had 4 children Mary, Alfred, Eileen & Dulcie.
Mary Monkovitch Slater.

If anyone has links to this family or knows of any more information, I would like to hear from them.Alfred Slater & Susan Bridget Donohue's daughter Mary Slater is my grandmother.Mary married Septimus William Newcombe. So naturally i have information from Mary down and her siblings, but am interested to fill in the rest of the family.
