Dear Marylyn,
Rev Power was an unassisted cabin passenger on the Shooting Star from
Liverpool to Melbourne although he was originally from Cork, Ireland. He was
a member of the Dominican Order and sent out by the church in the hope that
a drier climate would be of benefit to his health.
Have you tried the Public Record Office site for Victoria for unassisted
shipping indexes as under
www.prov.vic.gov.au/welcome.htm
Regards
Joy
