Don't live in hope with the burial ground.
I drove from Toowoomba, near Brisbane, to Croydon in far north Qld to find
my great grandfathers grave.
Found afghan camel drivers, chinese gold miners, but no great grandfather.
He died in 1888. Local publican. Left a wife and a tribe of kids.
Many people died up there and now some of the places where they were buried
as now fenced of and private property. You cannot get to them.
Had similar trouble with Grong Grong. Floods, cattle stamping over them,
more floods (cemeteries are always put on awful ground to keep the best for
grazing).
Maybe you need to ask a bit more to verify that you can even get to the
supposed place of burial. robyndehood.

where and on which vessel my GGrandfather Robert Hill Kinnear and his wife
Rosalie Magdalene Catherine and their two children arrived in Australia in
1852. I have had no luck with passenger lists. I have records from Pioneers
of Pt. Phillip (i know he came out from Scotland in 1839 and returned in
1844. He took up land on the Mooroobool 1840-41) Married in Dundee 1847.
Sold their farm in Corston (Scotland) June/July 1851, (I have an original
poster for the "Finishing Sale" dated 8th July 1851 in Corston). Their
second child, month old Robert Shiell Kinnear was christened in Scotland on
27th Oct 1851 and their little 4 year old daughter Rosalie Korn Kinnear died
on the property "Ballanee" (4 miles north of Ballan, Vic on 14th Sep 1852
(no death reg. for her on the indexes only an entry in the family Bible I
have) and I have this obsession to find where she is buried so I can visit
her grave next year w!
> hen we go across to Vic. They had to have left after the end Oct 1851 and
arrived before he took up "Ballenee" (as it was spelt then) in July 1852.

into this sort of thing than me, may be able to help me or give me some
clues as to what to do.

hoping.
