I am looking for someone researching the family of David & Sarah (Raffan) Scott. They went to Geelong Australia Dec 1854 on ship Herald of the Morning - both age 22. Had children there, Catherine 1860, Helen Aug 6, 1861, Sarah A. 1863 or 1866, and maybe Alexander (not sure of this name) abat 1856. Subsequently returned to Edinburgh ? Scotland and had more children Euphemie in July 10, 1863 and David May 22, 1869. It looks like they tried to return to Australia in 1869 on the Great Britain but the menifest shows they were not on board. Think they may have had contagious disease. In April of 1874 David came to Canada along with maybe two sisters and one boy was supposed to have emigrated to Australia (Alexander?).
Would anyone have any info on this family.
I would like to hear from you.
