One of the members of a Geelong family I am researching was a CHARLES
THEODORE TAYLER, who is listed on a memorial window/plaque at the Aberdeen
Street Anglican Church as having died in World War 1.

Although a document at the National Archives lists him as having been killed
in action in 1917 and that he may have joined the South African Forces after
the Australian Forces, I cannot find any listing for him on the AIF Nominal
Roll or on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site.

Any suggestions? He was the son of Charles Edward Tayler and Annie Pugsley.

Regards,

Stephen Brooks/Bendigo
