Note for your diaries.

The 2005 Vern McCallum Photo Exhibition
Saturday and Sunday, 27 and 28 August, 2005
Digby Memorial Hall

It's on again! Bigger and brighter than ever. Mark your calendars and make
sure that you tell all your family and friends to be at the Digby Memorial
Hall on the last weekend in August for the 2005 Exhibition.

There will be more new photos, including some truly impressive poster-size
prints. You might not realise just how much impact and detail old photos
can have until you see these. And, even better, you can order your prints
in this size!

The Vern McCallum Photo Collection shows the places, people and events of
the Western District of Victoria and nearby South Australia from the 1860s
to the 1970s. The collection started with photos from Vern's own family
(which arrived in the District in the 1850s) and has expanded through the
goodwill of many people who either donated photos, or allowed Vern to copy
their photos. The collection now contains over 7,000 images and is still
growing.
