At long last the Geelong Cemeteries Trust webpage is up and running! You
will be able to search all known burials in all the cemeteries administered
by the Trust. With 10 cemeteries, the process of converting maps to 'web
friendliness' etc has been an enormous task. We ask for patience in getting
used to the search facililites but at the same time, if you have problems
we need to know so these can be looked at. In the New Year we will add
other features such as displaying remarks that we have on file, especially
for the earlier burials on the 19th century. Please read the information re
searching and the histories of each cemetery, to get an idea of where many
earlier burials have been gleaned from and why we still have many missing
ones. We look forward to everyone finding new leads and adding to our
database if possible. Have a wonderful Christmas and don't burn the turkey

PS I am not sure how to write the web address on this email so that you
click on this and go straight to the page!!!!!So you will need to type this
in yourself. Susie Zada that normally takes care of these things for me is
