Subject: Avery & Collier of Newfoundland and Geelong

I was reading some of the old emails on the rootsweb site regarding a Jane Collier who married Charles Avery and moved to Australia in the mid 1800's..
Three of my GG grandfathers were Colliers - Samuel, Michael, and Thomas. Samuel was married to Jane Organ, Michael was married to Elizabeth Organ and Thomas was married to Catherine Casey.
Recently I came across a very old picture of Michael and Elizabeths daughter Margaret Collier. She was born at Gaultois, Newfoundland, Canada about 1864. What is peculiar is that the picture was taken in Geelong. I think that the three Collier brothers maybe were siblings to Jane (Collier) Avery and maybe Margaret was there visiting her aunt Jane. Michaels parents (my GGG grandparents) were Samuel and Sarah Collier.
Any help or hints that anyone can give me on this Australian connection will be greatly appreciated.
