Hi Folks,

More than 1,000 entries have been added to the Geelong & District
Directories database ........

These are entries (A-L only at this stage!) for the area covered by the
Geelong Town Council in 1882-83

They are from the Maning & Bishop's Geelong and Western District Directory
1882-83

More will be added over time - and PLEASE don't ask me for a look-up
otherwise this will never get transcribed - just be patient and wait till
your area gets added.

The alphabetical listings are by council and some time over the next weeks /
months / years (Eeeek!) the following will get added ...

Geelong Town Council M-Z entries - will be next

And the rest will probably done in order of reverse size - i.e. the smaller
(non-Geelong) ones first!

Newtown and Chilwell Council
Geelong West Council
Borough of Queenscliff
Shire of Bellarine
Shire of Corio
Shire of South Barwon
Shire of Bannockburn
Shire of Barrabool

And of course if anyone has already done any of these and would like to
contribute them to the project ........... well, I'm just an email away!
