Anne,

When I was at Port Arthur last year, I was able to view some bound books
that specified the in coming and outgoing ships, and boats, from Tasmanian
ports. I was able to locate details of a Henty brothers ship that took my
GGgrandfather, and his two sons from Launceston to Portland Bay in 1846. I
had already found their names on "The Geelong & Portland Emigration" lists
available on the net. I cannot give you the exact net address as all my
addresses are still on the dead computer and I'm waiting for them to be
copied off the hard disk.

I think you may be able to find similar information from "Log of Logs" at
your local Genealogy Centre.

Colleen R.
