Hi again, Amanda! I still have a lot of MOUNTJOY material you sent
me, and shall send you a private e-mail shortly.

In the meantime, many thanks for the look-up and information. I have
very little on HOSKINS - though my father bought some of their land
when the son Philip died in 1938. And you've filled in a gap or two
on JOHNS.

If anyone else is following the JOHNS family:
I was shown a letter from his son William's daughter Winnie which
says that William married Elizabeth PHILLIPS, not Elizabeth HARRISON,
in 1892, at the Congregational Church. Malvern. And William's sister
Louisa Jane (Louie) married Ted RANKIN and founded a football dynasty
in Geelong. She dies aged 33, and Ted married again ca 1914.
