Hello Marion,
I realise this may be a little late and may not be of interest, and is away
from Geelong, but there is a John Cooper Hall attached to the now Uniting
Church in Benalla.
Did your John COOPER by any chance belong to the Benalla area at any time?
Could they be the same person?
If so, and you can supply some further details we maybe able to help.
