Hi Ada,
Sorry to take so long to reply - car repairs to be done, visitors to collect
and entertain, etc. Re the indication/s of a wedding photo, I did not
phrase that very well. I was not referring to the book as the indication of
marriage, but to the fact that Catherine's left hand was posed so that the
ring and ring finger were visible. I have found quite a number of such
photos (incl. one of my Gramdma Catherine Mary FLYNN TANNER whose left hand
was resting on her right hand which held her bouquet, and my Mum whose left
hand was resting on her right upper chest). Some have the left hand on
seated husband's shoulder, on a piece of furniture, etc.

Because of the fact that the photo has been scanned and sent to me via
email, I do not know if it was a dageurrotype or on card, but assume that
because the image was clear it probably was on card. I cannot make out a
photographer's name on the image.
