Thanks for your help, Susie.
I did see Paywit on the list but the misspellt one looked a bit like Parvil
and the one under Marcus Hill looked a bit like Gay something and the other
looked like Paritz (a very exuberant y), so I didn't even see that they were
all the one word. I just needed someone who'd be able to look at it and go,
"oh, that's such-and-such", which is what you've done. So thank you very
much for your help.
I have looked at the indexes on your site, so I know you've got Foulds
records unfortunately at the moment if it isn't online it might as well be
on the moon - I live in Canberra so in theory have easy access to family
history documents by the truckload but in practice I have a 3 year old. So
I'm just getting what I can online for now and just biding my time.

For any others who are interested ........ the "missing" word is PAYWIT and
variations - Paywit being the eastern most parish on the Bellarine
Peninsula.
