Hello fellow listers

I am new to these two lists and am seeking information about the descendants
of George Tilly Vagg and Ann Harding who migrated to Australia from Somerset
on board the Himalaya in 1840. Their first child was born in Melbourne. At
the end of 1842 they sailed on the paddle steamer the Aphrasia for Geelong
and disembarked at Point Henry. They remained in the Geelong area for the
rest of their lives. My husband is a direct descendant of James Henry Vagg
and Sarah Monk who came to Cobden.

I am particularly interested in a good map of this area which would show all
the localities listed below.

Also I am keen to obtain a copy of the book "Bullockies, Draymen and
Horsemen" 1839 to 1859 Vol 1. It does not appear to be available in any
library for loan. Vol 2 is available. I understand George Tilly drove a
wagon and carried goods for early settlers from Geelong to Portland.

Any information would be greatly appreciated
