Small world - only today I had a query about this John McPherson - the
council intend to call part of what is now Ham's Road at Waurn Ponds, into
McPherson Road. The John McPherson that obviously the council are thinking
of is the one who owned most of the land at the top of the Waurn Ponds/
Anglesea Rd and some of that land was purchased in 1878 by the Ham family.
