Hi Carollyn
You could send a query in the form of a letter to the editor of the 'West
Australian' the current local daily paper in Perth. Just outline some
details....
I have had much success finding my own and friends' distant relatives
through this newspaper. Alternatively check TROVE - index to Australian
newspapers 'til about 1954.
kind regards
Liz

Subject: [GEELONG] Outcome of will settlements
Hello
A question for this learned group. Is it possible to find who were
benficiaries of a will.
I have a English will from 1895 with a named beneficiary who was in
Australia. A letter in the West Australian newspaper was subsequently
searching for the beneficiary.
I wish to know if the beneficiary was found and received their inheritance.
I have found a site where I can pay ... 'probate geneologists'. I have put
the question to them and yet to hear.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thank you
Carollyn
