Hi,
First of all, allow me to congratulate everyone on a great idea. I hope that this mailing list will be extremely successful.

I have a query that I hope someone could answer for me.

I have the name of the ship my G-Grandfather came out on which I found by doing a search a the Vic PRO in Laverton. It only gave very basic infomation re the ship, naturally and his age, departure port and arrival port.

My question is: Are there any records that gives more information where a person came from other than the basic shipping records.
