Hi
Would you have a little bit more info such as a first nae for your
Granger.
I think you will find the name of the town he married in was Koondrook which
is in Northern Victoria on the Murray River between Swan Hill & Echuca.
As far as I know the St. Paul's Church Records have been sent back to the
Church in Melbourne.
Cheers

Hi,
I'm a new listmember. I'm researching an ex-Leicestershire farmer who was
demobbed after WW1 and given an un-farmable piece of land in Vic. He went
home to his family in England during the Depression. They had told him that
things were much better there, only to find that his family really just
wanted him as free labour on their farm :-(
His surname was Granger and I do not know where his land was. I do not know
Vic geography and the only place names I have as possible locations for the
farm are Bendigo and Langwarren.
Q. Would there be immigration records for him for his arrival in Aust?
Q. Would there be emmigration records for his return to England?
Q. He married at St Paul's in Koordrook on 16 March 1925 - would there be
any records/information from this?
Thanks,
Miss G.
