Hi Kate

Your query was about The Victoria Hotel which was and still is
situated at 215 Lt Collins St, Melbourne.

I cannot go back to the 1920's but my brother was employed there as a
drink waiter in the 1950's and I used to go to work with him on a
saturday morning to fold the table napkins.

At that time The hotel was very popular with country folk when staying
in Melbourne.
