Hello Everyone!

I am new to the list and would like to post the surname of RYE as my
main interest.

In particular I am looking for any information on the following:

Harry RYE son of Thomas Jeffrey RYE (born Irthlingborough, Northampton,
UK)

Harry was born about 1890 in Adelaide - died before 1969
About 1912 he joined Robert Reid & Co., Melbourne
In 1920 he started his own business Harry Rye Ltd
Later he returned to Robert Reid & Co and became General Manager
Following was with Buckley & Nunn of Melbourne

Married: Winifred E KENDALL-BAKER date not known
Child: Peter RYE

In 1950 he visited UK with wife and son.

Harry's widow, Winifred was last known to be residing at 100 Mount
Albert Road Canterbury Vic 3126 Australia in 1969.

I would also appreciate any information regarding the companies
mentioned.
