Crane - Albert Edward born 30 November 1926? Korumburra
died 16 September 1977 Bairnsdale
Married
Margery Davies on 18 January 1958
she was born Bairnsdale 1 may 1937
and died Bairnsdale 14 Feb 1997

they had 2 girls
Barbara and Gillian (I am Gillian) the above people were my parents.

I am looking for any information on my dad's parents and grandparents.

these were

Albert Edward Crane born ????? at Wangaratta died Bairnsdale 1956
married
Annie Isobel Maloney born ??? at St James died 1939..

they had 4 children
Albert Edward (my dad)
Isobel
Robert
and
Allan (aka curly)

Here is where the mystery is..
Annie is recorded as dieing at Omeo in 1939
but their is no record of burial..

I then got in touch with Bairnsdale cemetery trust
and there is no record of her burial there.

Linda then looked for me at the Ensay Records
there is a record of a Mrs kane,.. buried in 1939
but thats it..
(this could be her as they were a very poor family)
and they were living at Doctors Flat at the time.

Someone may remember them.
There is an element of mystery regarding her death..
As from childhood memories of dad saying
she died from childbirth, but then after dad passed away
and my sister and I asked mum when did Nana Crane die.
She told us that she died after childbirth when the ceiling of the bedroom
fell in on her (and the baby we think)


Any information.. I would be more than grateful..
