SUNDAY TALKS PROGRAM

EXCURSION TO THE TRINCULO (Near Golden Beach)

Historian Peter Synan will lead us on an excursion to visit the site of the
wreck of the TRINCULO, an iron hulled ship driven ashore during a mighty
storm in 1879. Remnants of the hull can be seen in the sand on the beach.

· Meet us at Golden Beach, at the intersection of Shoreline Drive (the road
to Seaspray), at 2pm, Sunday February 18th.

· BYO folding chair, sunscreen, and your afternoon tea to have on the beach.

· Please note there is a walk of approximately 300 metres across the sand
dunes to the beach.
