Hello Jan, I'm sure that if you contacted Esso, they would have an
historical department, or at least be able to tell you whether or not there
is any written history. Give it a try. Cheers Yvonne. P.S. My
husband work on the rigs from time to time doing insulation work. He was
using asbestos for lagging pipes. It was as a result of this type of work
that he was contaminated with asbestos and he died 7 1/2 years ago from
mesothelioma. I know a little about the rigs
