I'm looking for information regarding the NIPPARD family who lived in Foster
around the 1890s. Thomas NIPPARD was born and died in Ballarat, but his wife
Emma Louisa died in 1892 in Foster. Their two children Elsie (b 1889) and
William (b 1891) are both listed as having been born in Foster.

Thomas NIPPARD's uncle David NIPPARD lived in Melbourne, but left jewellery
to his nephew in his will dated 1886, at which stage Thomas was living in
Foster.

When David died in 1905 part of his estate was 85 acres and 18 perches of
land being part of Crown Allotment 6 Section A Parish of Wonga Wonga County
of Bula Bula. Can anyone confirm that this was in the Foster area? In
searching the net I came across some Council Meeting Minutes from the South
Gippsland Shire, which included the sale of council land which was crown
allotment 9 Section A, which includes a map which has a NIPPARDS Road
marked. Can anyone give me any further information on just who the road is
named after?

Any further information regarding the family in the area would be
appreciated.

Regards
