Good Morning Everyone,

Those of you who receive Gippsland Heritage Journal, please don't die of
shock - but I am starting work on #28 as #27 is firmly in the hands of the
printers.

Number 28 has an article on the Chicory growing/kilns on Phillip Island,
and I have just been looking at the bottle of Coffee and Chicory Essence in
the pantry, and wondering where I can find an older one. Just in case I can
slip a photo in.

So I was just wondering - I know a few on this list are associated with the
various local museums about the place. If any of you, over the next couple
of months, happen to notice an old chicory essence bottle in your
collection - could you check out the label????? Just to see what sort of
bottles are around. I don't suppose we would be so lucky as to find a local
one, as all manufacturing (as opposed to growing) seems to have been in
Melbourne. But you never know. Or anything else associated with chicory.
