Hi Pam,

Colin Mclaren is shown on the 1856 electoral roll as a stockman at Mewburn
Park (at one hundred pounds a year - same for Neil Weir). As I think you
would know, he was managing Glenfalloch for Macfarlanes when Richard McKay
came through there in 1861 (Recollections of Gippsland Goldfields - McKay)

I think any local will still tell you that Mewburn Park and Tinamba are
different. But I would need to check - I think Mewburn Park is in the
Parish of Tinamba, which is a very large parish, running from Maffra right
through to Heyfield.

There are no other mentions in Beneath Blue Hills
