Hi Everyone,

Just to let those looking for a place name know that a new website has been
launched, for the AUSTRALIAN-PLACENAMES list at Rootsweb.

It is at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/AP/index.html

In particular, there is a page with many websites and books (such as Peter
Gardner's Gippsland place names series). So, if you are looking for
Tinamba, it will give you a list of places you can look for it. That one
may be easy enough, but if you are looking for those obscure places around
Gaffneys Creek, it will give you some clues as to where you can start looking.
