Hi Listers

The Gormandale Primary School has on its walls the Honour Boards from three
of the smaller schools - Gormandale, Gormandale East and Carrajung - that
have been closed.

On the Honour Board which came from the Carrajung School, there are four
names which are indicated as killed/died - I am trying to prepare some
information on each of these four men - but one is proving elusive.

The name is clearly listed as Ensil. A (however the Board was refurbished
when it was relocated to Gormandale) - but I can found no ENSIL on any AIF
or Commonwealth War Grave Commission listing. The nearest 'match' I can
locate is an Arthur ENGEL - but I can find no link between this man, or his
family, and Carrajung. (The Honour Board appears to be not restricted to
pupils and teachers from the Carrajung school - it appears to include men
from the district).

Any hints, ideas or information would be most welcome.
