Hi Vee,

If you have copies of the above records, & it is not too much to ask, would
it be possible for you to look for surname Baade for me, presuming that it
is not too difficult a task

I have a Patrick John Baade born in Sale 1906, no birth registered, came
upon him through army records on National Archives website. Gave no family
member as his n.o.k.
Baades came from Sale, Bairnsdale, Swan Reach, Lakes Entrance areas, so I
guess he was raised & schooled in that area. Finding where he went to
school would hopefully be a big help in locating which member of the Baade
family he belonged to - I figure he was illegitimate.
Seemed to live in boarding houses & pubs in Melb. prior to & after his Army
discharge in 1942 until his death in Melb. in 1960 - his death papers turned
up nothing I didn't already know & he appears to have been buried in Fawkner
cemetery & has no headstone.

Grateful for any help/suggestions you might have in locating info on this
guy.

I checked the microfiche for the East Gippsland Schools and the only Eva
Smith I could find was:
Eva.F.Smith b.17 Apr 1926 - attended Briagalong School 12 Oct 1931.
There are listings of students at Stratford but as the microfiche states,
not all records are complete
