Hello List,
I am trying to help a friend with her family research.

We believe James Edgar (Bill) EMMETT was born in Gipsland about 1857 to a
wealthy pastoral family. Family stories say he left home and went to
Queensland where he married Maria (Myra) SNELL in 1882. They also include
stories of him being the horse breaker referred to in the Kidman books.

Can anyone shed any light on this for us. Any help would be very welcome.
