There is a new database online (well, new to me) for Victorian
politicians. (With thanks to Lenore Frost)

The search screen is at http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/re-member/

I have been putting a few Gippsland ones through it, and especially
noticed that the photograph of Allan McLean is one I haven't seen
before. McLean was from Maffra, and was Premier and Chief Minister
before resigned to be first member in the Federal member for Gippsland.
