Hi Everyone,

We are in the final throes of pasting up booknotes for Gippsland
Heritage Journal #30. This means we do small reviews and contact
details for any books (or CDs) on Gippsland history or with
substantial sections on Gippsland families. So if anyone knows of any
that fit this, published in the last 12 months, that have not been
noted in GHJ, please feel free to drop me an e-mail offllist at



Personal commercial promotion onlist is a Rootsweb no-no, but I
generally have a fair bit of latitude where people would like to post
details of new books to the list, especially where they are from
not-for-profit organisations such as historical societies and family
history groups. This is especially useful for people not living in the area.

Although to conform to Rootsweb requirements, probably the most
acceptable way is to not mention the price and provide details of an
e-mail address where people can make further enquiries if they wish.
And the occasional mention of a website in a signature is okay, when
posting about other things. But if in doubt, feel free to check with
me offlist.

Main thing is - we all like to know what books are being published,
and it can be done within Rootsweb guidelines.
