TERRITORIAL MAGISTRATES.
THE Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to direct the names of the undermentioned gentlemen to be added to the Roll of Magistrates for the Colony of Victoria, viz.:-
ARTHUR PURSSELL AKEHURST, Esquire, Wood's Point.
GEORGE WRAGGE, Esquire, Mayor of Melbourne.
GEORGE CHRISTIAN DARBYSHIRE, Esquire, Wyndham.
WILLIAM WHITAKERS, Esquire, Tibbut, Delegete.
WILLIAM BOYD CUNNINGHAME, Esquire, Fulton, Sale.
ALEXANDER LITTLETON PEARSON, Esquire, Vellore, Sale.

IT is hereby notified that W. H. FOSTER, Esquire, Police Magistrate and Warden,
commenced duty in such capacity at Sale on the 7th instant.

DEPUTY SHERIFFS.
THE Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to make the following appointments, viz.:-

to act also as Deputy Sheriff at Wood's Point.
GEORGE HARRISON, Esquire (Police Magistrate and Warden at Jamieson),
to act also as Deputy Sheriff at Jamieson.
WILLIAM HENRY FOSTER, Esquire (Police Magistrate and Warden, Sale),
to act also as Deputy Sheriff at Sale.
