Hello all

I am researching my family line of PUTZ as follows:

My grandfather Simon Williams Putz was born 24 Jan 1900. At
that time, his parents Simon Putz and Amy Mary Davey were living
at Fosterville, Bendigo. Simon was a mining engineer.

Does anyone know if there was only one mine at Fosterville, or can
suggest any sources of information which may be available for
trying to trace the family. My sister lives in Bendigo, so she would
be able to visit any libraries etc. Simon (Sr) was born in Germany,
Rheinprovinz, son of Peter Putz and Annie Steer.
