I am forwarding my Roberts family in case there are some descendants out
there that would like further information on the ancestors of Josiah
Roberts and Elizabeth Ann Treloar who arrived in Vic Gold Fields from
Cornwall in 1868 via New Zealand.

Josiah Roberts was a tin miner in Cornwall and a miner in Broomfield.
Their ancestors' history is colourful and their descendants are scattered
throughout Australia.

Josiah and Elizabeth married in Helston Parish, Wendron, 11 April 1867

William Thomas Roberts, born Broomfield, 1882
Louisa Roberts, born Broomfield, 1884 (my grandmother)
Emily Roberts, born Clunes, 1886
Basil Percival Roberts, born Clunes, 1889
