Thank you to everyone who sent me info about Mary Williams' death.
In August I'm off on a short holiday including North Wales & Scotland
and wanted to confirm my great great grandmother's birthplace so I can
have a quick look and take some photos.
We'll be in the Scottish islands - Skye and North Uist for a few days so
if anyone would like a photo of a particular spot there send me the
details - I can't promise but will do my best. In the meantime there are
heaps of web-sites with pictures (and history) of the highlands and
islands for all those descendants of people who came to Geelong and the
goldfields after the "clearances". This is one of my favourites for
