Hi Everyone
Looking for any connections to Samuel MOSS married 19 Feb 1853 in
Melbourne. After that to the Bendigo area
Children:
Sarah born 7 May 1855 Long Gully Bendigo
William ? Feb 1856 died 11 Sept 1859
William Henry born 7 July 1859 Sparrow Hawke Gully Bendigo
Charles born 8 Dec 1861 Sparrow Hawke Gully Bendigo
Family story is that Samuel had a hotel in Bendigo at one time. He may
have been married 5 times.
To NZ with wife and 3 children 1864. Married Clara LEVY in 1865 in NZ.
Son Charles seems to have gone back to Aus. at some stage as killed in
mine accident. Two brothers of Charles supposed to have gone to America
but haven't found another brother to NZ. Was he from one of the other
marriages and stayed in Aus.
Any help appreciated.
