Hi to all on the list,

This is my first posting on this list, after a week or so of "just
looking". Seems a very interesting list so far. My family interests
are naturally the ROWLAND's of the Homebush / Avoca region, as well as
the IMPEY and BALDWIN families of Amphitheatre and Mountain Hut (near
Avoca). The ROWLAND'S have a long association with the area, having
moved from Mt.Barker, South Australia to the Avoca region in the early
1850's lured there by the discovery of gold. Likewise, the IMPEYS and
BALDWINS have a long history in the district. I have connections to
these families as well. Both myself and other members of my family would
be most interested in hearing from anyone having a connection with these
families, the view being to share what information we have accumulated
over the years. Hope we can be of help to someone out there.
