That was quick.
Many thanks for all the help re McIver.
For what it is worth I have a book titled
"A Geographical Dictionary or Gazetteer of the Australian Colonies" dated
1848 by William Henry Wells.
It refers to Towns-Places-Districts-Rivers-Creeks etc.
eg BOHEMIA The station of A.Doyle, in the district of Liverpool Plains,
NSW., on Briglow Creek, 145 miles from Murrurrundi.
The spelling may be a little different from that of the present day and some
places may have been renamed.
I will gladly do LOOK UPS if it will help any listers.
