Hi Leonard, - Also posting to List - just in case anyone has connection.
Thanks for your info. It's interesting you mention that Robert was
a carpenter, as William ALLEN the father of George ALLEN
was also a carpenter. George was born 1834, he became a Baker
in Ballarat, & Haddon and died in 1928 at Symthsdale, south of Ballarat.
My George was supposed to be born in Essex but so far I have
not been able to confirm this.
We might have a connection who knows, but George's parents are
down on his death & marriage cert's as William ALLEN & Emma MASON.
