Hi Philippa,
The Inquest CD (1840 to 1985) gives the name, age (sometimes), reference
no.( for PRO research), cause of death and the date of inquest. The date
enables you to check the newspapers (earlier newspapers gave inquest
results) which often gives you date of death and other interesting
information you may not have had.
