Hi Janet
Where did your McDonald family come from? My husband's McDonalds came from
Bowmore, Islay, but not on the Marco Polo.

Robyn

arrived on the 1852 voyage of the Marco Polo, going to a property at Avoca,
and soon after settled at Campbells Forest. There were 60 McDonalds on that
voyage of 900+passengers. I have to wonder whether there are other people
reasearching the McDonald name whose ancestors arrived on that same voyage
of the Marco Polo.
